Description of Organization

ASASE Foundation is a legally registered Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O.) in the greater Accra Region. It was created on March 25th, 2017 to enable Ghanaian women entrepreneurs to play a key role in cashing-in on the plastic waste trash of Accra, for the benefit of their own communities. Joining the foundation, women and men from underprivileged communities get access to seed money and knowledge (technical and business) to start a social enterprise and manage it for growth. These enterprises are called CASH IT! and reprocess plastic packaging waste. CASH IT! will make the waste fit for recycling into end applications which are fit for use in the community, or broader, by all people in Ghana. A certain percentage of the profit will the paid back to the Foundation to roll our CASH IT! plants across Accra and Ghana. Lastly, an equal amount of profit will be given to the community for community development projects.
